Ellu Gallery is one expression of the vibrant art culture that is so important to Nevada County. With a colorful, open space quite representative of the area’s zest for artistry, Ellu Gallery will be featured in and holding a preview for this fall’s Open Studio Tours. Created by the Center for the Arts, Open Studio Tours takes visitors on an inspiring journey through Western Nevada County where people of all ages are given the opportunity to “enter the world of a visual artist to experience how, why and where art is created.”
With similar missions to spread awareness on the necessity of art in today’s culture, life, and societal progression, Ellu Gallery and the Center for the Arts will provide an immersive experience for the community, families and all persons who embark on the tour of Nevada County’s bustling, creative culture. They invite you to kick off the fall season on October 11th with a special event, the Open House Preview, where you will get to meet and engage with artists featured on the tour. From 6-8:30 pm, the Ellu Gallery will host a night of live music, fine art, delicious food and community festivities for all to enjoy!
